Renae’ Paige is 26 years old, and lives in North Carolina USA. She is a Singer, songwriter, and guitarist. . She has been performing live for 9 years and writing songs since age 10. She has been compared to the sound of many well-known artists like Jewel, Gwen Stefoni (from the band No Doubt), Shakira, and Sheryl Crow. One of only 26 finalist in the past 3 Superstar Searches through 98.7 The Zone radio station in 2004-2005. Has had air play on 98.7 of original song titled "Chills Run Down My Spine". Renae’ was featured on WB TV20 as a finalist for the Superstar Search. Most recent news has been the airplay of song "XxtraOrdinary" on clear station 106.5 wend the end. In May 2003 Renae’ got the break she had been waiting for. She got in contact with a producer named Ken Mohan and talked on the phone for 2 hours, he made and appointment with her the following week. They started recording immediately after he heard the first song she ever played for him which was a song she wrote called "Being Me". Recording and mastering was completed in Dec 2005. Every song is powerful and emotional, and has very real lyrics. All songs hit home in your heart of what this artist must have felt when writing these songs. All songs on this album wrote by Renae’. Musical backing from guitar, drums, bass, male backing vocals all by Ken Mohan. What a wonderful musical collaboration of Ken Mohan and Renae’ Paige on this album. This album was released in March of 2006 with Turmic Records.

About Renae' Paige

Growing up country music was all around me. I remember listening to John Denver when I was only 3 years old. Later at age 10 (year 1990) I really started listening to Paula Abdul, Mariah Carey, and Whitney Houston. There was no "alternative" music at that time, pop was really the music scene. My producer often would tell me that so many years singing that kind of music really shaped my vocal range. I would sing everyday diligently, not stopping, until it was right. My friends in school would beg me to sing at lunch. Music was a very large part of my life from a young age, and where I get it from I do not know. I have just always been drawn to music. I picked up the guitar only about 3 1/2 years ago. I had only been playing for about 6 months when I started recording this album. Self taught, I got a chord book and went form there. Some chords I would find and just write down the coordinates on the fingerboard because I did not know what the chord actually was. I write songs from my heart, and from my like experiences. I started writing song's very young at the age 10.

News right from Renae'! "My song is at number 3 on the top downloaded song for charlottelivemusic.com. I think that's pretty amazing. Also I am still working in my band, but another band hired me to be there lead female singer. The name of that band is Heartbeat of Soul, which performs all over the southeast. So I have a lot of musical things happening right now. I am also already working on my next album, which will be titled "Totally Twisted". I think I will have around 13 tracks on this album. I want to have more of an edge with this album, sound a little bit more rock. There are some great tracks coming on the next album. I had a hard time when I had to decide between which tracks would go on my debut album verses the next album. You guys at Musicians World are the first to hear about the next album.
